Why is there a JHT cancellation fee?

Why is there a JHT cancellation fee?

We are pleased to offer onboard parties, entertainment, and events to our guests at no additional charge, often accompanied by significantly discounted rates. However, these discounted rates are limited in availability, and cancellations can have an impact beyond the individual reservation. When a guest books using a discounted rate and later cancels, we often lose access to that rate, preventing other guests from benefiting from the same opportunity.

Additionally, we incur non-refundable fees from our booking system vendor for each reservation, as well as substantial administrative efforts, including processing payments, issuing confirmations, addressing inquiries, and making adjustments to bookings. In some cases, these efforts involve many hours of work, for which we receive no compensation if the reservation is canceled.

To help offset these costs and ensure we can continue providing exceptional experiences, we have introduced a $100 per person cancellation fee applicable to our organized group cruises. We appreciate your understanding and support as we strive to maintain the quality and value of our offerings for all our guests.

This fee only applies to our organized group cruises, but does not apply to our 2026 River Cruise.
